8 years!

Today is mine & Trent's 8 year anniversary! Well, our anniversary of when we started "going out" LOL sounds funny now! I can't believe it has been that long! 8 years is a long time! We have been thru so much and yet sometimes it seems we have so much that we haven't accomplished! so much we still want to do. When we were first together I was 21 and Trent 19 -- that was kinda weird but now the age difference doesn't seem like a big deal at all. We were together for 6 years before we got engaged and almost 7 years when we got married. We were always waiting for the right time and we wanted to be more financially stable. But if you wait for the right time it never seems to happen! That's why we had Logan right away, we got married in May 2005 and got pregnant in August! No point waitin' -- we had waited long enough already!
We are going to start the process of buying a house within the next month or so - that'll be exciting. We are probably going to buy the house we are in now, which is my Grandma's house, and stay here for a couple years then either sell or keep it as a rental. We really would like to be a little closer to Trent's work. Right now his commute is 2+ hours every night! It would be so nice to have him home earlier in the evenings, it would make me and the boys happy! Plus the wear and tear on the truck is terrible! So that is our long term goal! Plus we want to have another baby in 2008 so we will need more room before that happens because this house is a 3 bedroom and I would really like to have a office too. So, we'll see what happens.
