Here are a few things I have been working on lately :)
this first one I did for 3 scrappy boys, using the awesome October main kit

& this one I finished yesterday -- this is prolly one of my FAVE LOs ever ever!! i just love the way it came together & it is covered in yummy Close to My Heart glitter (that I got from Sara, if'n you need a STMH consultant let me know, i know an awesome one!!!!) & tons of butterflies! & i love this Crate pp!!!! so pretty! I took lotsa close ups of this one cuz it was kinda hard to get the dimension in the pics :)

When i showed that last LO to Trent he said it was beautiful!! He has never said that bout any of my layouts before! Made me happy :)
There are a few other things I have done but havent gotten the scans resized and everything, maybe I will get it posted over the weekend :) I also have a few DT things I have done that I cant post yet :) not til November! oh & I finally got pics of my 'layout curtain' that Trent put up for me a few weeks ago, i will get those posted this weekend too

the weekend

not much exciting really
Trent really did take Thrusday & Friday off, guess I should apologize to him for doubting him......NAH!!! heehee.
We went looking at more houses on Thursday morn, us & the 2 bebes -- that was not a fun experience. 1 of us usually just stayed in the car with the kiddies so we didnt have to take them in & out, then if it was worth seeing we would trade & the other would go :) thank goodness our new realtor is so understanding!!!! Her name is Tess, if anyone is ever buying a house in So Cal, let me know & I will give you her info. She has been great for us! Much better than that idiot we were dealing with before!! Gaaaah! anyway, I saw 2 that Trent had already seen, love love LOVED them both, but they both have offers :( for whatever reason Tess thinks the escrow might fall out on one of em, & they are accepting back up offers, so we upped our bid on 1 of em (they have a really low asking price so, we are trying to 1-up the competition LOL) & we put in a bid on the other, they are both fantastic houses, like my jaw drops even thinking we might get them! beautiful!!!
We did get a tad bit of good news, about the house that we put in an offer a couple weeks ago, then upped our offer, Tess called the listing agent yesterday & he or she (I dunno) said that we are looking good! & we should know something today or 2moro! I am not sure why, we know for a fact there is an offer in that is a few thousand more than ours -- but we have heard that we are 'more qualified' not sure why but, OK!!! anyway, i love this house! It has a loft space, that would be my loft/scrappy space :) I know I have blogged bout this house before :) anyway, I will of course let y'all know. they may just counter offer -- who knows. But we both want it, so I think we would go as far as we could to get it :) keep all finners & toes crossed for us please!!
James had another football game on Friday -- they beat them, of course!! It was like 56 to 13 or something like that! NO team has ever scored more than 2 points against James' team!!! Isnt that crazy!!!??! I didnt get to go ( I had to stay at home to recieve the package that had to be signed for for James' phone that we didnt need *grrr*) but James ended up playing A LOT!!! & he got tackled by this HUGE guy :( & this other guy was totally not following the rules or whatever, he was 'holding' on James & he was hitting James in the back! & he was hitting him in the face mask! :( ACK! I gotta say I am glad I wasnt there! cuz I woulda been flipping out! Trent said that when they put James lined up in front of this huge huge guy, he was thinking 'aw crap!' OY! I would have been a WRECK!! Altho James was going on & on about it lol he was so proud of the way he handled it! so, its good that he is so proud of himself! & I am glad that they won
OH! & THE MOST EXCITING news! I cant believe I didnt post this in the first paragraph!! We got 2 words from Kenzie!!! YAY! the MOST exciting is that the first one is mama!!!!! YEP!! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! She has been saying it for a week or so, i thot she was just babbling (I know Mom, u called it lol) but she is in fact saying it TO ME :) I could not have been more excited, then on Saturday she said ba-ba for her bottle! over & over again she said it! so, i know that was what she was wanting! So, we are on our way to talking! I bet she will out-talk her brother! He still doesnt say much,

have a headache today, but not as bad as over the weekend (course those just got worse & worse as the days went on, afternoon were just KILLER) i was s'posed to have a doc appt this week, just my monthly med. check in appt, but my dr is outta town, again, all week!!! Grrrr! This is the 4th vaca he has taken this year! Crazy!! & those are only the 4 i know about, because every single one of them fell during a time I was s'posed to go in for an appt. so, that has been postponed til next week, which is fine as long as his back up doc signs my refills like he is supposed to!! We will see today.

False alarm!!!

Guess who found his phone today????
guess who's phone was NOT stolen was was left behind by its OWNER *Gaaaaaah*
lil stinker!!!! He left his shorts (phone IN pocket) IN the locker room!! the shorts never even went to the football field :( on the bright side, guess I will be getting a new phone! LOL
& at least no one stole it outta the locker room!!

i guess it was bound to happen eventually :(
apparently someone stole James' phone AND his shorts, being that his phone was IN his shorts! You are probably wondering WHY he wasnt IN his shorts! heehee!!! He was at football practice & being the ummmm, well, not the most ambitious boy ever :) he had his shorts under his bags instead of IN his bags laying next to the field. We are thinking it MAY have been an accident. But, either way, we called Verizon, had the phone shut off, put a claim in to the insurance & he will have a new phone on Friday. IF by chance someone returns his phone (which I am really praying they do! I mean seriously, he goes to a private Christian school & the only kids that had access to the field were the kids that are ON the team with him!!! & that is just awful to think that one of his team mates stole his phone on purpose, kwim?) anyway, IF we get his phone back, we will go to Verizon, explain what happened & it will be my phone :) My phone has been acting up really badly, a lot lately! OH, & did I mention, James had an EnV2, a VERY expensive & fancy phone that my Mom bought him for his 13th bday (which was in July so, I guess he has done pretty well with it, he has never lost it, damaged it or had it taken away at school, never any problems til now). So keep ur finners crossed for us that someone returns it!!
I have had a horrid week, as far as how I have felt. I have had migraines like crazy & no migraine meds!! Between Walgreens pharmact dept. & my health insurance, i dont know who is more idiotic!!! Gaaaaah!!!! they are both infuriating!!!! sigh & I gotta say I am getting so completely fed up & frustrating with feeling like hell all the time :( normally I deal with it, its just the way it is, blah. blah, blah. But tonight I am kinda snarky about it. Its starting to piss me off :(
anyway, moving on. Trent has the next 2 days OFF!!!! Holy cow! can you believe it????? I know I cant! We are going to look at some houses 2moro (PLEASE please please let us GET a house FINALLY!!!!) we still have bids in on a few, but, figured we better keep looking. We do have a bid in on 1 I would REALLY like to have (if anyone would like to see pics of it, let me know & I can send you a link to the online album), we just raised our offer on it because we found out that there was another offer higher than ours. Altho, the guy says we are more 'qualified' i dont know what the heck that means! I just want to get the process started & get moving on it, kwim? the thot of having to move around the holidays is so crappy :( but, that it prolly the way it will be.
I have been working on my DT stuff for 3SB! YAY!!! Lovin it! it is so fun to work with a 'kit' of stuff & not go rumaging thru the rest of scrap crap to add to it, but just work with what i have in the box. It is a fun challenge for me! & I am enjoying creating with Heathers kits. I will be able to show SOME of what I am doing (as soon as I get it scanned & resized & all that hoopla) but some of it i cant share til it comes out in the 3SB newsletter (which u can sign up to get by registering at the website btw).
James has a game on Friday, they havent lost any!!! So, it will be interesting to see how they do. They only have like 4 games left in the season!! But, by the way things are going I bet they go to the playoffs. I am so glad that his team is doing well!!! What a great first year of football experience for him!
Logan is just a picky little stinker like always. I am not sure that he ate anything today, other than his infamous package of Keeblers cheese on crackers & a donut for breakfast (I know a horrible breakfast LOL but i am starting a new diet 2moro so we were spluging, it was super yummy!!) & Kenzie is just crawling & eating, she is the best eater EVER!!! she gets places super fast! & she gets what she wants! unless Logan wants it also, then he takes it & runs with it! & when I make him apologize to her, when he is being a little beasty!!! he hugs her& kisses her -- so cute!! but when he decides he wants to hug her, out of the blue, for no reason, she will be crawling along & he will run up behind her, lay down on top of her, hugging her, so she cant crawl away! Sheesh! she so does not like that!! at all! she get sooooo angry!! (ok it IS kinda cute tho)
i think that is all that happening with us right now. & I really should be heading off to bed, being that it is 1AM & all. I just havent been able to sleep hardly at all lately :( it sucks!

hellooooooo!

Oh boy

SO much going on, but yet, my life seems so totally boring LOL
James had a football game on Thursday afternoon, they are still UNdefeated!!! WOW! that is just so neat! I am so proud of him for the way he is sticking with it! He truely enjoys being on the team. He is already planning to try out again next year!!

We got J's first report card of the year *sigh* well, most of the grades were great! all A's & B's EXCEPT *grrrrrrrrr& the D in history! He says --> history is so boring! LOL We had told James at the begining of the school year that if his grades werent good he wouldnt be able to play football! & we had specifically said "NO D's!!" So, we havent decided yet what we are going to do :( if we are gonna make him sit out a game or what. i dunno

Kenzie got another tooth over the weekend!! YAY! But, boy was she a crabby little groucho!!! Sheesh!! She was not at all her happy-go-lucky self! Even Tylenol didnt help! Poor little peanut! But, it popped thru on Saturday afternoon so, she is getting back to herself (at least until the next one!) She had been learning to "cruise" the furniture so I am sure that walking is in the very near future!! I cant wait for her to walk! Still not talking yet. She has been saying mamamamamaaaamaa *giggle* I think she is just making noises tho (But my Mom says she is saying MOM :) heehee i dunno)

Logan is, well, he is 2 :) He is demanding & loud & incredibley silly!! He just cracks me up! So funny!! right now he is standing next to me with a phone help up to his ear, the phone is not on, but he is 'talking' to someone on the phone right now!! LOL He loves the baby so much (that is what he calls her --> Baby! so cute!) He is usually pretty good with her. He does get to rough with her at times, but I really dont think it is intentional. He will always ask where she is & if she is crying he says "oh no!" & when I am changing dirty diapers (his or hers) he plugs his nose & says "ewwwwwww!! ewwwwww" bwaahaahaa SO funny :)

Trent went to stateline with the company he works for over the weekend. They had a golfing thing. he was gone friday night til Sunday evening. He had a great time! He doesnt get time to himself so I am glad he was able to go (OK, i wasnt all that thrilled he was GONE I guess cuz I had no help & I was so tired lol BUT I was glad that he got to go, does that make sense?) he came home sunburned, tired & sore. Logan was so excited when Dad got home, K was already sleeping so she wont get to see him til tonight.

I did a lotta scrappin over the weekend :) but, i also didnt do much sleepin :( I just do not sleep well when I dont have Trent here! I was up til 3 on Friday night & up til 4 Saturday night & then i didnt sleep well last night either!! I am not sure why, since T was home, maybe I was TO tired? I dunno but sheesh I am exhausted!! i think i need a nap! to bad Logan doesnt agree.

I just ordered the kids some clothes for the coller weather from Old Navy -- love me some Old Navy!! & boy do i love shopping for a girl! So much fun! all the pink & lace & ruffles! I never loved pink before Lenzie came along -- but now I cant seem to get enough of it!! she also just outgrew all her clothes too (perfect timing tho! since she needed all new clothes for cold weather anyway) she is now in the 12-18 month sizes, Logan is still in the 18-24 month size & they are both still in their size 3 diaps.

We went costume shopping on Friday before Trent left for stateline. Logan is going to be a monkey :) & Kenzie is gonna be a bee (because I call her my nutter-bee it seemed very fitting) I wanted her to be a banana, since Logan was getting a monkey costume! But they didnt have any banana costumes!!!! but the bee costume is adorable!!! It has a black toole tutu like shirt & fairy/bee wings. she will be so cute!!! & Logan will of course look great as a monkey, esp since he IS my little monkey boy!!! James didnt find anything that he wanted!! really weird! maybe he is just getting to old :( so, he is just gonna wear his football uniform when we go trick ot treating.

Today is our 3 year anniversary

Trent asked me last week if he could have some money to buy me a present -- I said "no!" LOL we are trying to save for a house :( so as much I would love for him to buy me something, it just wasnt the smart choice
