Formula................

Well, Logan is 11 months old (almost) and I have been breastfeeding him, he has never had formula and hates bottles no matter what is in them. But last night I just had enough!!!
He got his first 2 teeth when he was like 4 months and immediately got 6 more, he's got 4 on top & 4 on bottom. He used to just bite occassionally when he was nursing, esp. if he fell asleep. But lately it's been getting more and more! And it REALLY hurts! Seriously if you have never breastfed a biting baby there is no way to explain the pain!
So, last night --he still gets up 3-5 times a night to nurse-- he bit me 4 times!!! 4 times!!! All on the same side!!! OMG! I am still in so much pain! I am trying to nurse him on that side as little as possible becasue it still hurts so bad! and he doesn't just bite anymore, he has started doing something new -- he holds my nipple between his teeth than pulls his head back really hard!!! What is this all about???
Anyway, I decided last night --when I was almost in tears from Mr. Biter-- that I am done! I was gonna try to get to his 1 year but I cannot take this anymore! Besides I am really starting to resent that I am the only one that never gets a full nights sleep! I need help, it's just to much, I am SO tired!
So today I bought some formula @ Target. I already tried to give him some -- he does NOT appreciate it at all! But, I have to save at least some of my sanity! So send my baby lots of "Drink you formula without complaining thought" please :) I hope he doesn't give me to much of a hard time with it.

another day, another migraine.........

This is getting so old! I am so sick of having a headache &/or migraine! I don't wanna feel like crap anymore! This is so frustrating! It seems to have let up a little right now but yesterday was soooo bad!! not as bad as the one I had a few weeks ago but still pretty bad. I just don't know what to do about them :(

Logan has a cold

either that or he is teething again! He has a runny nose and a little fever. Poor little guy :( and he is SOOO grouchy! so, poor mom too :) I hope he gets better quickly, I don't wanna hafta take him into the dr. Trent could have a hard weekend with him -- since I hafta work.

Migraine Hangover

That's what I have today. Had another stupid migraine last night, not as bad as the last few so that's good. But the day after a migraine I always still feel "off" dizzy, nauseous, my head still aches, my eyes hurt, I spend my whole day wondering if the migraine is going to come back for an second showing - I just wanna stay in bed :) but Logan's having none of that :)
I really hope that once I am able to take the migraine meds that they help because this is ridiculous. I am getting them all the time and it sucks!!!!!!!

I was watching Oprah.......

she was doing a show about great mothers and things that they have done. And she did a story on a woman that started an organization for babies in Africa -- the woman said she saw a story about these babies & wasn't sure what she could do. All these babies are orphans, most of them from parents that died of AIDS and alot of the babies also have HIV or are very sick. So she wanted to do something to help with their illnesses. She had a baby and was breastfeeding and knew how good brest milk is for babies, esp. sick babies and since these babies are orphans obviously no one is there to nurse them so she started an organization that sends breat milk to these babies! Isn't that awesome?? She takes donations from all over the world and they pastuerize the milk and freeze it and send it to Africa! I don't know how she came up with this but I think it is fabulous!

Wow!!

Look at this pic I just found of us from 2001. Look at how skinny I was!! I think I will hang this on my fridge for inspiration!
What's really sad is that I actually remember when we took this picture & I remember thinking to myself that I didn't want to take any pics because I was so *heavy*!!! Seriously -- what is wrong with me !?!?!?!

Rachael Ray

Any fans?? I watch her everyday -- love her! I really enjoy her show. I have tried a few of her recipes over the past few months. A couple of weeks ago she did a weeks worth of recipes that you could do in 1 day, and than heat the food the day you want it. So I figured I would try it. It took me 3-4 hours to do the weeks worth of cooking on Monday morning -- Logan did not appreciate not having my attention for that time but at least I haven't had to cook the rest of this week :)

The enchiladas are like one of the best things I have ever eaten!! So good!! It has been super nice to have dinner ready to go into the oven every night with no effort! Not sure if I will do it again, only becasue Monday morning was SO hard with Logan! It's really hard to cook with a baby screaming at you! But maybe a couple days worth.

James & I took Logan to the park this afternoon to see if he would like the baby swing, he loved it! Here are some pics (please excuse the graffiti on the swing! people are so tacky! I am hoping I can edit it out with Photoshop)

Logan in the grass

I took some pictures yesterday of Logan & James in the front yard -- Logan hates being in the grass! It's so funny :) He doesn't like touching it. He sits with his hands in the air, or if he is in crawling position he will only put 1 hand and 1 knee down in it :)

this week

Not much happening this week. Just same ol' same ol'. Trent is taking another class today. James is already talking about the next sport starting -- basketball. That one is gonna be a lot harder on Trent becasue they do 2 games each week so that will mean being down there with Logan for hours!! I may need to try to get those Saturdays off :) It's only 3 of them.

nothing important

I did these last week. I am so far behind :) still trying to finish up 2006. Oh well.

James' last softball game was today. They tied 4-4. I have some of his pics from a few of his games up on my picture site if you wanna see 'em. So, no more sports for a little while -- basketball is next.

Spring break starts in a couple weeks...........ALREADY!!! seems like they just went back from Christmas break!

I have to work tomorrow. Kristi's wedding is this afternoon/evening. Trent & I will be heading over there as soon as he gets back from work (he was called in today to do his review). I hope it all goes smoothly for her, I bet she's nervous right now :)

went to the hospital last night

I had to go to the hospital for my migraine last night. It got so bad after I was on my way to get James from school that I was going to sit at the school & wait for Trent to come and drive me home. I did end up driving home because my vision cleared up. I took a Vicodin when I got home but it didn't even touch it so we went to urgent care. Logan was screaming, he hates Kaiser I guess?? Anyway they gave me a shot of (no clue how to spell this??) Tordal & Fenagen. They helped. But Logan screamed at the top of his lungs the entire trip home so that did not help!! And I can still feel it some this morning. I kept James home today because I was afraid of driving til I know for sure it's gone.
